EG Stand In gpk Hits 11k MMR

Evil Geniuses current stand-in for the Omega League, Danil "gpk" Skutin has become the third player to hit the 11k MMR mark in Dota 2 history. This is a monumental achievement for the young CIS player. He is the first non-SEA player to hit this achievement. gpk shared this achievement on his social media handles.

Only two other players have crossed the 11k MMR mark. Filipino Superstar Abed “Abed” Azel L. (for whom gpk is currently standing in for) managed to hit it in May 2020 becoming the first to cross that mark. Former Fnatic carry Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon became the second to do so in July 2020.

gpk Hits 11k MMR in just 3 months

Gpk managed to raise his MMR by 1000 points in just three months. In the middle of May 2020, the player’s team Gambit Esports revealed that he had managed to hit 10k MMR on their social media accounts.

A quick glance at his recent pub games shows that the player did not resort to hero spamming to hit this number. He has played a number of different heroes in the carry/mid roles over the past few days carrying him to this number.

gpk is currently a member of Gambit Esports. However, he has been loaned out to Evil Geniuses for the Omega League tournament.
