Abed Becomes the First Player to Hit 11k MMR

• Abed becomes the first-ever player to hit 11k MMR.
• He was also the first player to cross 10k MMR way back in 2017. Since then 24 players have crossed the 10k MMR mark.

Just when we were seeing 10k becoming the new norm, Filipino Superstar Abed “Abed” Azel L. Yusop goes on and raises the bar even higher. He has now become the first-ever player to hit 11k MMR.

The measuring stick just changed around here, pal. 11k MMR!! What the hell?

The surprising part about this whole thing is that Abed didn’t even resort to spamming one hero like many. He has played 5 different heroes over the course of the last 16 games. He has just simply been a step above the rest of his opponents. He has won 15 of his last 16 games to get to this historic number.

Abed was also the first player to cross 10k MMR way back in 2017. Since then 24 players have crossed the 10k MMR mark, the majority of whom has passed the threshold after Valve changed the MMR system earlier this year.
