TNC Predator has been eliminated from the BTS Pro Series 2: Southeast Asia tournament after a 2-1 loss against Neon Esports. The team finishes in 5th-6th place and will take home $2,250 in prize winnings.
Neon Esports will advance and face Fnatic for a shot at the Lower Bracket finals and to secure themselves a Top 3 finish.
TNC Predator vs Neon Esports
The series began with Neon Esports being touted as the favourites (considering their 1st place finish in the Group Stages). Although TNC Predator had shown some semblance of form in their previous match against T1, they were considered the underdogs coming into this game.
TNC Predator started off the series well, taking a commanding lead in Game 1. Although the team was even on the networth charts, with their superior late-game lineup, it looked like they were headed towards a win. However, with a Divine Rapier Ursa warrior on their carry Skem, Neon Esports managed to turn it around and secure the win.

TNC Predator struck back in Game 2 with a Phantom Assassin for Gabbi. The Filipino carry put on a show for his fans, carrying them to victory with a 15/2/8 scoreline. The final game was yet another stomp. Neon Esports just ran through the TNC Predator lineup winning all three lanes and dominated them throughout the game. The game ended in just 25 minutes with a 38-5 scoreline favouring Neon.

Highlights of Today's Matches:
TNC Predator has been looking dire for the last couple of tournaments. The team has not been playing together from a singular bootcamp like some of their peers. Perhaps that is causing some issues with the team’s synergy. Unfortunately, the team does not have enough time to regroup and reorganize. They will be competing in the upcoming ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League which kicked off on Thursday.
As for Neon Esports, they have been performing quite well in this tournament, securing the first position in the group stages. Unfortunately, a loss to BOOM Esports in their opening match of the playoffs, made their group stage run seem like a fluke for many fans. While their win today, over TNC Predator is certainly a good start, their matchup against Fnatic in the playoffs, tomorrow (at 03:00 PM SGT) will be the true litmus test for the team.
