- Na'Vi star AWPer s1mple talks about burnout and the reason because of which he stays motivated to compete in CS:GO.
- S1mple says that “I don’t have a burnout. I don’t understand all those who talk about (losing) motivation, have you lost your mind?"
- He has been grinding hard along with Na'Vi and the revamped lineup is all set to debut at DreamHack Masters Spring 2021.
One of the best CS:GO players in the world Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev has been putting up scintillating performances since the start of the year. Unfortunately despite the individual effort, his team Na’Vi has failed to produce any significant results in their last 2 outings - IEM Katowice 2021 and ESL Pro League Season 13. This once again sparked off multiple discussions within the CS:GO community about how s1mple was carrying Na’Vi single-handedly, and the need to make a few changes. Seeing s1mple put in a lot of effort in preparation for the upcoming DreamHack Masters Spring 2021, a discussion on burnout and motivation took place between him and his Twitch viewers on April 27.

S1mple talks about burnout and motivation in CS:GO
Na’Vi in order to get things right following their lackluster performances in the last 2 CS:GO tournaments have made some necessary changes. They took the tough decision of swapping flamie with B1T for a couple of events, while also hosting a bootcamp in Kyiv.
But s1mple being the true star that he is, has gone above and beyond by grinding hard on FPL (FACEIT Pro League) to once again put his best foot forward in the coming tournaments. But there was a bit of concern among his fans and supporters, fearing that s1mple might soon face burnout and a lack of motivation if Na’Vi does not step up as a team. Confronting these questions, s1mple went on to explain his current state of mind and said that,
“I don’t have a burnout. I don’t understand all those who talk about (losing) motivation, have you lost your mind? No motivation? Hey, hello, a player who has never won a CS:GO Major sits in front of you, the same as you.
There is always motivation about something. I have a motivation to just go to a tournament and destroy everyone over there, 15,000 fans raising their hands, everyone is having fun, everyone is watching, everyone is chatting, and everyone has (the) vaccine in their bodies. I think this is much better than doing nothing at all.”

Expressing himself to his viewers, s1mple made it clear that he is not facing any kind of burnout. He also goes on to reveal the reason behind his motivation to continue competing in CS:GO, which does not seems to be going away anytime soon. The star AWPer who is yet to win a Major title had given a similar statement earlier when a viewer had asked him about switching to Valorant.
“Listen! If I were Astralis (Danish CS:GO team) that has won 4 Majors, I would probably think about it you know. But now I have 0 Majors, so I will keep grinding.”
The community were in awe of his competitive mentality and were excited to see Natus Vincere’s performance in DreamHack Masters Spring 2021, as they step out with a revamped lineup.
