American professional Counter-Strike player Tarik "tarik" Celik underwent a bitter experience today as it came to his realization that he has been missing out on all user donations since August 2019.
The 24-year-old who currently plays for Evil Geniuses Tweeted that all the donations being given to him by his fans, followers, or other users since August last year have actually been getting refunded because he had forgotten to update his PayPal email id on Streamlabs.
He further revealed that he has been able to receive the donations made to him in the last 30 days or so, though the amount that he missed out on might have been close to $3,000.
A few users took this opportunity to take a dig at the player, but it was all in good faith as the player remained tight-lipped after having owned up to his mistake.
Overall the player has not been having the best year with Evil Geniuses so far, the team apart from a runners-up finish at ESL Pro League Season 11: North America has failed to achieve anything significant.
The team also changed its coach, as Brazilian Wilton “zews” Prado joined them in place of Chet “ImAPet” Singh who now works with 100Thieves. But even that doesn’t seem to be working perfectly for the team that has barely managed to qualify for BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals. Let’s see how the team goes on to perform in the coming matches.
