G2 Esports Thanks the CS:GO Community on Reddit for Advising them on how to Stop Choking
Just a few days after asking the CS:GO community for advice on how to not choke on Dust 2, G2 Esports after attaining a ‘2-0’ victory against Astralis has once again taken to Reddit, thanking everyone who is a member of r/GlobalOffensive for helping them out.
In the post made by the organization, G2 Esports thanks everyone for their help while stating that “In just two days your advice helped us to stop chocking,” in reference to the ‘16-13’ win that they registered against Astralis on Dust 2 at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 - Europe.
The post did contain a cheeky concluding statement, with G2 saying that they might be back in a couple of weeks time after they start choking again. Hope that this does not come true, as the team has already tasted defeat twice in the grand finals of both IEM Katowice 2020 and ESL One: Road to Rio - Europe.
After a shaky start to DreamHack Masters Spring 2020, G2 Esports have bounced back well taking the lead in the group stage with back-to-back wins and securing themselves a place in the upper bracket of the playoffs.
Though G2’s win rate on Dust 2 which is apparently their favourite map is still at a poor 36.8% (last three months), at least the team is performing well on other maps to maintaining their form. Let’s see if they can finish strong in this tournament by securing a victory or do they head back to Reddit once again asking for more advice.
