An unusual moment occurred in the second upper bracket match of ESL One: Road to Rio - Europe between Astralis and G2 Esports when Kenny “kennyS” Schrub failed to notice Astralis’ in-game leader Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander on Overpass for more than 10 seconds.

Down to just two players in the 3rd round of the game, gla1ve was holding his position at ‘Connector’ below the stairs with his back towards ‘Squeaky’. Coincidentally kennyS who was also there at ‘Squeaky’ failed to notice gla1ve for more than 10 seconds, as he was concentrating towards the ‘Lower Tunnels’ area.

The whole scenario was oddly hilarious as pros are generally really quick at spotting the enemy and taking them down, the casters only made the whole situation a whole lot funnier as they coaxed the Frenchmen to spot gla1ve, the helplessness in their voices pretty evident.

Despite the early lead, G2 Esports was unable to secure victory on the map, leading to a ‘2-0’ defeat against the Danes. With this, Astralis move on to the upper bracket finals of the tournament to face off against FaZe Clan, while G2 Esports drop down to go against Team Heretics.
