Sometimes no matter how hard one tries they fail to find success, at the moment it looks impossible for MIBR to crawl out the pit they find themselves stuck inside, and Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip seems to understand what the Brazilian squad is currently going through.

“Damn, I feel for MIBR. The team, culture, and fan base that I grew to love. Seems like when they’re at the bottom of the pit (it) somehow it gets deeper.”

The 22-year-old who had played with the Brazilian squad for 8 months in 2018, transferred over to Team Liquid after an exchange of players took place between the two organizations. He went on to motivate the Brazilian squad by saying, “Remember how you guys came to be, how hungry and hard you guys worked. CS is nonstop and only gets harder. Good luck MIBR!”

Facing a brutal loss against Team Liquid in their opening match of ESL Pro League Season 11: North America yesterday, MIBR who recently witnessed the departure of Wilton “zews” Prado as the team’s coach, really need to come out of this everlasting slump they currently find themselves in.

This year has not been good for the team so far, as they failed to qualify for both IEM Katowice 2020 and BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Finals, while also placing 5th-6th at DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020. Though they were able to place at the top of their group in the first phase of FLASHPOINT Season 1. The real test for the team is to qualify for the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 11.
