The last remaining player on Cloud9’s roster Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, who had been taken on a trial basis back in October is no longer a part of the organization. With this Cloud9 is left with no players on its active roster except for James “JamezIRL” Macaulay, who is the head coach.

Cloud9 in early December lost its trio of Timothy “autimatic” Ta, Damian “daps” Steele, and Kenneth “koosta” Suen to Gen.G Esports, this was shortly followed by Oscar ”mixwell” Canellas stepping down from the active roster, while Tyson “TenZ” Ngo took on a role of being a content creator, leaving behind Subroza whose role in Cloud9 had been undefined since the players started to move out.

Finally, Subroza also parted ways with Cloud9. He has already been spotted playing multiple open qualifiers with various different players in the past few weeks, even going on to defeat Gen.G ‘16-14’ in the Open Qualifiers for IEM Katowice 2019.

The future of JamezIRL is still unclear, with the North American organization not having an active roster at the moment. Let’s see how long before Cloud9 decides to sign a new roster and make a comeback into the competitive circuit.
