G2 Esports has announced the signing of both Nemanja ‘nexa’ Isakovic and Nemanja ‘huNter-’ Kovac from CR4ZY.

G2 Esports who recently participated in ESL One: New York 2019 along with Fabien ‘kioShiMa’ Fiey as a stand-in and Lucas ‘Lucky’ Chastang, have gone ahead and completed their roster before they play at DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019.

The French organization has signed nexa and huNter, who will be stepping into the shoes of shox and Lucky. Both the player are mighty talented and have been recruited as part of the organizations effort to go ‘Global’ with their Counter-Strike squad.

Previously CR4ZY's CEO had called out G2 Esports of poaching its players. Well, it looks like they were successful in reaching through to the players and offering them a good offer to be a part of their organization.

While nexa will be taking on the challenging role of an IGL, huNter will be a rifler, who will switch between the role of support and a back-up AWPer.

Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodriguez, CEO of G2 Esports, was fired up about the roster shuffle as he said that,

“Make French Counter-Strike Great Again? Screw that. We will show the world, now for the second time, that an international lineup can be number one.”

G2 Esports most recent commendable performance came at ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals, where they finished as the runners-up. The team has gone on to finish 3rd-4th at ESL One New York, but to break past this barrier and win an international top-tier event, the team took a decision and underwent the above-mentioned changes.

Both the players seem to be eager to play for the French organization, as nexa says, “I’m hungry to play at all the events and win trophies. I am ready to put in an insane amount of hours to achieve these goals.” while huNter comments, “I can’t wait to practise and play events with G2. I won’t promise we will win every event, or that I will be the best. I do promise that I will give 110% in and out of the game.”

Let’s see how the new iteration of the French squad performs in the upcoming DreamHack Masters Malmo 2018. Considering the less amount of time the team has had to prepare, it will be interesting to see how far they can go in the tournament.

The current G2 Esports line-up is,

  • Kenny ‘kennyS’ Schrub

  • Audric ‘jaCkz’ jug

  • Francois ‘AmaNEk’ Delaunay

  • Nemanja ‘nexa’ Isakovic

  • Nemanja ‘huNter’ Kovac

  • Damien ‘maLeK’ Marcel [Coach]

  • Lucas ‘Lucky’ Chastang [Benched]
