Ioann ‘Edward’ Sukhariev, one of the longest-serving members of Na’Vi has returned back to the organization after being loaned to Winstrike Team for a period of roughly three months.

Na’Vi announced the return of Edward to its bench as the loan agreement between the two organizations came to an end. They are currently considering various options for his future career.

In his time with Winstrike, Edward and co went on to finish second at CS.Money Premier, while just missing out on a slot for the BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019 by finishing third in its CIS Play-In Qualifier, facing defeat against AVANGAR who are currently in the semifinals of the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.

Winstrike's coach, Ivan 'Johnta' Shevtsov had a few things to say,

"We are very grateful to Ioann for his help during this period. Two bootcamps, two LAN tournaments, online matches and training, the schedule was tight. Taking into account the workload in Na'Vi from where he came to us without rest, it was not easy and I, personally, am very grateful to him for his commitment."

Adalyat Mamedov, Head Manager for Winstrike, said that,

"Everybody knows that Edward is a living legend of Counter-Strike and an incredible professional. In addition, he is a very intelligent and pleasant person with exemplary inner discipline. I am glad that for all those years he has been playing CS Edward has not lost his passion and thirst for victories.

Our young players learned a lot from him, and he tried himself in a new role of being an IGL. Hopefully, that experience will help him in his future career. I do not exclude the possibility that we will work together again, but today the lease contract has ended and Edward goes back to Na'Vi as a reserve player."

His departure from Winstrike has left the team with only three players with Aurimas ‘kvik’ Kvaksys leaving the organization late last month. Na’Vi themselves have not been having a great time crashing out of Berlin Major yesterday, after facing a loss against NRG Esports.

The current Na’Vi roster is as follows,

  • Danylo ‘Zeus’ Teslenko

  • Kirill ‘Boombl4’ Mikhailov

  • Denis ‘electroNic’ Sharipov

  • Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev

  • Egor ‘flamie’ Vasilev

  • Mykhailo ‘Kane’ Blagin [Coach]

  • Ioann ‘Edward’ Sukhariev [Inactive]
