In 2022, Indian esports has grown immensly with pro players no longer being strapped for cash. With tournaments like the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series Season 1 and the BGMI Masters Series offering $260,577 and $190,923 in prize pools, Indian players have had a lot of opportunities to secure themselves significant amounts of prize money in 2022.

Despite the suspension of popular titles like Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in the middle of the year, the game's players remained as the highest earning Indian pro players in 2022 despite many other titles like Valorant and Pokemon Unite hosting tournaments throughout the year.

In 2022 alone, Sc0utOP is estimated to have earned $24,966 USD through BGMI tournaments including the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021, Nodwin x Loco All Stars Invitational, and BGMI Masters Series.

Akshat “AkshaT” Goel is another BGMI veteran that currently plays for Team SouL. After playing for organizations like 8bit and Chemin Esports, AkshaT joined Team SouL in January 2021. Since his arrival on the team, his performance has only skyrocketed over time. It is estimated that AkshaT has earned $35,712 through BGMI esports earnings.

Prior to joining Team SouL, Hector did not demonstrate a notable, but in 2022, he proved himself to be one of the best BGMI players in India. According to Esports Earnings, Hector is estimated to have earned $39,368 via BGMI tournaments in 2022.

Hector joined Team SouL and helped lead the team to victory in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series - Season 1, where he earned $16,640. He also led Team SouL to a 6th place finish in the BGMI Masters Series, where he won three accolades and earned $2,665. Goblin led Team SouL to a second place finish in the Skyesports Grand Slam 2022, where he won $1,004, and a first place finish in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series - Season 1, where he was awarded the MVP award and five more accolades, earning him a total of $22,400.

He also contributed to Team SouL's 6th place finish in the BGMI Masters Series, where he won two awards and earned $2,664, and their 7th place finish in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022, where he earned $125.
