The last two days of the Wild Tour Brazil 2022 Season 1 are set to be held at a physical location in Teatro Minas Centro, Brazil. The League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament’s venue will also be open to live audiences. The Wild Tour Brazil 2022 Season 1 will kick off on 29th April and will feature 12 teams competing for the lion’s share of the $305,330 USD Prize Pool. The top two teams will also earn a ticket to the upcoming Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022. Fans can start booking their tickets on 18th April. More details will be revealed at a later date.

Wild Tour Brazil 2022 grand finale open to live audience

The first three days of the tournament will be played at the Riot Games studio in São Paulo - from 29th April and will last until 1st May without a live audience. However 7th - 8th May, the tournament will be open for live viewers with tickets being made available soon.

Tournament Format

A total of eight participants will proceed to the Knockout Stage and compete in a double-elimination format. Matches will be settled through a BO3 series while the Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket finals will be played on a BO5 series. The grand finale will be played in a BO7 format.

The crowned champion of the Wild Tour Brazil 2022 Season 1 will head straight to the group stage of the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 while the second-placed team will head to the play-ins of the world series event.

Last year, Team SoloMid (TSM) claimed the championship title and represented Brazil in the Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021. TSM will return this year to defend its title and try to earn the ticket for the upcoming Wild Rift world series.

The Wild Rift Esports scene continues to grow globally with new teams showing their dominance. It will be interesting to see if TSM can defend its title or will fans be seeing a new Brazilian representative in the upcoming Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022.
