Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 Group Stage: Schedule, Results, Standings

The League of Legends: Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 will soon kick off on 14th June with the Play-ins leading into the Grand Finals on 9th July. The tournament will feature the top 24 teams from around the world competing for the lion’s share of the $2 Million USD prize pool and the opportunity to become the first ever Wild Rift world champions.

Additionally, 25% of the sales from the Majestic Empress Morgana Skin in Wild Rift will be equally distributed amongst the top 8 teams in the tournament. The Icons Global Championship 2022 will be held at a physical location at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore.

Play-ins Group Distribution

Teams who qualified for the Play-ins have been divided into four groups and shall compete for the Group Stage seed.

It should be noted that 25% of the sales from the Majestic Empress Morgana Skin in Wild Rift will be equally distributed amongst the top 8 teams which increases the value of their prize.

• 16 teams are divided equally into four groups

• Teams from the same region were not drawn into the same group.

• Double Elimination Bracket

• All matches are played in a Bo3

• Top 2 teams from each group advance to Group Stage

Prize Pool

The $2 Million USD prize money will be divided amongst the participants with the crowned champions taking the lion's share.

16 teams are divided into four groups of 4 teams each, where teams from the same region nor in the same Play-ins group shall not be drawn into the same group.

• Each region's champion will be placed directly at this stage

• Top 2 teams from each group advance to the Knockout Stage
