The Launch Week of Battleground Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 presented fans with a lot of enthralling battles and rivalries. Experienced teams like OR Esports, Revenant Esports and Team Soul were able to showcase dominance on all three days of the tournament.
Global Esports had a decent run on the first two days of the launch week. Day 3 saw the team make a comeback and accumulate 36 points in just two matches. The team managed to bounce back despite the absence of its In Game Leader (IGL) Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh.
Team X Spark, on the other hand, played a single match on Day 3 of the launch week and was not able to secure even a single point. Despite not managing to secure a single point on Day 3 the team was still placed in the top 10 at the 9th spot on the points table, due to the team’s performances on Day 1 and 2.
Even though the teams are having a good run in the tournament. Fans are curious as to why Mavi and Tanmay “Scout” Singh who play for Global Esports and Team X Spark respectively are missing from the event.
Mavi and Scout Missing from BGMS Season 2
Global Esports and Team X Spark had a good run throughout all three days of BGMS Season 2. Global Esports and Team X Spark are currently placed 9th and 12th in the rankings respectively. But many are wondering why Mavi and Scout are not in the fray at the moment.
Mavi last played with the team on Day 2 of BGMS Season 2 and Scout was seen playing with the team quite a while ago.
In a recent live stream, while interacting with his viewers Amit “Fyxs” Gourav said that Mavi is having health issues. The change in conditions such as food and water could have affected his health. He also said Mavi was currently playing two tournaments simultaneously and that also could have taken a toll on his health.
It is to be noted that Mavi is currently playing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) and BGMS Season 2 simultaneously.
Recently Scout himself informed his fans about his health. He said he had a fever and cold and is getting better, but will require some time to recover.
He also mentioned that he has not stopped practicing and he continues to grind to make a comeback.
Team X Spark before BGMS Season 2 and BGIS had some roster changes in the team. The introduction of Tushar “Dreams” Jain to the team changed their performance and the players synergized quickly. Scout himself at the time had backed out of the playing four for this reason.
Global Esports and Team X Spark will be looking to assert dominance in the League stage of BGMS Season 2. While there is no official confirmation regarding their further participation in the tournament. Fans are eagerly waiting to see both of the ex teammates turned rivals play against each other.
