Who is Gladiator Esports?

The Indian gaming community has seen significant growth in recent times. Multiple organizations have come forth to establish themselves as leading competitors in various gaming titles. Be it mobile gaming titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) or PC gaming titles like Valorant or Counter Strike Global Offensive (CSGO), organizations have invested in multiple titles to showcase their dominance.

There are many esports organizations who have looked to establish their authority in the mobile gaming industry but not many have been able to do so. The mobile gaming industry is a vast space and every other tournament a new team or organization can be spotted. 

Gladiators Esports is one of the upcoming esports organizations and it has made a significant impact on the Indian esports scene in a short span of time. The organization made its BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) debut on 9th June 2023, after it announced that it had signed three former Chemin Esports players, Parth “DeltaPG” Garg, Ammar “Destro” Khan, and Justin “Justin” Nadar. Apart from them, it also signed an underdog player named Pawan “Shogun” Kumar to its roster. The Skyesports Champions Series was the team’s first tournament and it was directly seeded into the Semifinals.

Gladiator Esports has a combination of three experienced players and one rising player that bears a great deal of potential. It was expected that this lineup would dominate straight away against seasoned teams. The team showed the first signs of dominance when it was crowned the champion in the Nodwin Championship Cup which had a prize pool of INR 27 Lakhs. The team also went on to win the India Today League Invitational which was a mixture of experienced and underdog teams. 

Recently, Gladiator Esports won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2. The tournament boasted a massive prize pool of INR 2.1 Crores. The initial stages of the tournament were not the best for the team as the performance was inconsistent. The team slowly and steadily started to gain momentum and was placed in the top four after Super Weekend 2 which earned it a direct slot in the Grand Final. Gladiator Esports was able to clinch the championship in the Grand Final by just 1 point and took home INR 1 Crore.    

Gladiator Esports was also invited to participate in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 The Grind and it dominated the event and has qualified for Round 3 of BGIS 2023.

Since the announcement of the Gladiator Esports BGMI roster, it has garnered attention from players and teams and has become one of the top contenders to win multiple titles. In this short period of time it has been able to impress fans with its aggressive gameplay.
