Fans have been looking forward to the return of Blacklist International’s dynamic duo Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” del Rosario in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 10. However, the team’s head coach Kristoffer “BON CHAN” Ricaplaza revealed that the comeback of the V33Wise duo is yet to be confirmed. The head coach also commended one of its veteran players Edward Jay “Edward” Dapadap for staying consistent despite Blacklist International’s struggle during the MPL PH Season 9. BON CHAN also shared that he thinks RSG PH shall take home the championship title this season.

VeeWise duo’s comeback for MPL PH Season 10 is still undecided

Blacklist International’s OhMyV33nus and Wise shaped the identity of the team which led to its championship run in both the MPL PH Season 7 and 8 as well as winning the M3 World Championship crown. When the dynamic duo announced their hiatus in the pro scene for one season, the team saw a drastic change in its performance and they did not qualify for the MPL PH Season 9 playoffs stage.

With fans eagerly waiting for the return of their favorite pro players, Blacklist International’s coach announced that there is still no guarantee as to whether the V33Wise duo shall compete next season.

In an interview with MPL PH caster Neil “Midnight” de Guzman, BON CHAN stated, “I am also not sure, I’m really not sure.”

While OhMyV33nus and Wise did hint that they will only be gone for one season, the dynamic duo is yet to officially confirm that they will be signed back onto Blacklist International’s roster for the MPL PH Season 10.

“No final word yet. I’m not really sure about it. Let’s just wait for their decision,” said BON CHAN.

Without the iconic team captain and jungler of Blacklist International, the team struggled and went on a losing streak in the regular season of the MPL PH Season 9. The team eventually lost its playoffs dream after finishing 7th place with only three wins and 11 losses.

Despite the team’s lackluster performance in the regular season, BON CHAN commended Edward for remaining consistent despite the sudden roster revamp.

“The best player this season [for me] is Edward,” the Blacklist International coach stated. “Edward remained consistent, regardless of his teammates. From Season 7, 8, and 9, his performance never dropped,”

With the Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022 out of their grasp, Blacklist International sets its focus on the upcoming 31st SEA Games. The team will be manning the Philippines’ Sibol national team banner and shall be aiming for the gold medal.
