Upthrust Esports has unveiled yet another Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event just two days after the conclusion of The Multiverse Series 2024 BGMI event. The new event named BGMI Multiverse Series The Final Showdown will be played across three days and will have 16 teams participating from its previous events. The tournament also boasts a prize pool of INR 2.5 Lakhs along with an award and prize money for individual performances.

Upthrust Esports BGMI The Multiverse Series 2024 Final Showdown detailed 

Upthrust Esports’ The Multiverse Series 2024 Final Showdown BGMI event will feature 16 teams - the top 8 teams from the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 event and the top 8 teams from The Multiverse Series 2024 BGMI event. The event will be played from 19th to 21st January 2024 with 6 matches being played each day.

This is the map schedule for all three days of the Upthrust Esports The Multiverse Series Final Showdown BGMI event:

Points System

Upthrust Esports has revealed that it will be allocating points to the teams on the basis of the Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile Esports points system. The team securing the chicken dinner will now receive 10 points instead of 15 and the amount of points will keep decreasing for lower placed teams. 

This is the points system for the Upthrust Esports Multiverse Series The Final Showdown BGMI event:

  • 1st place: 10 points.

  • 2nd place: 6 points. 

  • 3rd place: 5 points.

  • 4th place: 4 points.

  • 5th place: 3 points.

  • 6th place: 2 points.

  • 7th place: 1 point.

  • 8th place: 1 point. 

  • 9th - 10th place: 0 points.

  • 1 Finish: 1 point.

Prize Pool Distribution

The event boasts a prize pool of INR 2.5 Lakhs. The top 3 teams will be awarded prize money with the winner taking home a sum of INR 1 Lakh. The event also has prize money for individual performances like the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

This is the prize pool distribution for the event:

  • Champion: INR 1 Lakh.

  • Runner up: INR 75,000.

  • 2nd Runner up: INR 50,000.

  • Most Valuable Player (MVP): INR 25,000.

The Multiverse Series 2024 Final Showdown BGMI event will be live streamed on the official Upthrust Esports Youtube channel and Upthrust Esports Loco from 12 PM onwards. 

The Multiverse Series 2024 Final Showdown BGMI event will be interesting to watch for the viewers because of the new points system being introduced. Teams will be looking to play aggressively and gather as many finish points as possible due to the number of placement points being minimal for teams that suffer early elimination.
