Ultron Explains His Departure From TeamXSpark
Highlights
In a recent livestream, Hemanth “Ultron” Sethi revealed that he did not leave TeamXSpark on his own but was replaced by Viren “VIRU” Gour as the team failed to gel up.
He explained that he rejoined the team after Arshpreet “GiLL” Singh, Prajyot “ClownY” Adhatrao, and Viren “VIRU” Gour left the team.
He stated that he returned to help his “elder brothers”, Mavi and Scout, rebuild the team.

TeamXSpark’s (Tx) former professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Hemanth “Ultron” Sethi recently revealed why he had to leave Tanmay “Scout” Singh’s TeamXSpark. Ultron explained that it was not his decision to leave the team, but he had to leave because the team couldn’t gel up. However, due to a controversy and the inability to sign new players, Ultron rejoined the team after receiving a request from his former teammate Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh. He said he offered to return to help his “elder brothers,” Mavi and Scout, rebuild the team.

Ultron claims he was replaced with VIRU in TeamXSpark

After having disbanded for around ten months, Mavi and Scout rebuilt TeamXSpark in December 2021 with Arshpreet “GiLL” Singh, Prajyot “ClownY” Adhatrao, and Ultron. However, soon later, in January 2022, Ultron left, and Viren “VIRU” Gour joined the team as a replacement. In a surprising turn of events, GiLL, VIRU and ClownY left the team in February, leaving only Scout and Mavi. Notably, GiLL and VIRU left the team to join GodLike Esports.

In a recent livestream, one of Ultron’s viewers told him he should not have left TeamXSpark. Responding to this, he revealed that it was not his decision to leave the team. According to him, the team was facing difficulties in getting along with each other during the initial stages of their collaboration in January. As a result, the team decided to remove Ultron and bring in Viru instead.

However, the team later faced a slump as three players left, which Ultron called “controversy.” Following this, the team could not sign new players as most of the players were already in contracts with other organizations. This left the team incomplete. As a result, Ultron had to rejoin the team. “I already had an offer; I was about to sign a contract with some other team. But then, Mavi messaged me and asked me to discuss it once before signing the contract,” he added.

Ultron stated that he had informed Mavi that he had received a contract offer and was planning to sign it. He clarified that this was before any controversy had occurred. However, after the controversy had taken place, Ultron offered to rejoin the team if they wanted him back, as the players were facing difficulties rebuilding the team. “They were left alone, so they could not do anything, and they would have had to sign underdog players. So, at that time, as a younger brother, I had to be there for them, for my elder brothers. That’s all,” he added.

Despite having a few of the best players on the team, TeamXSpark faced difficulties in 2022 in putting on a consistent performance and winning accolades. However, Scout has revamped the complete roster, now featuring Aditya “Aditya” Mathe, Vaibhav “Humanoid” Kashyap, Darklord, Syed, Scout, and Sarangajyoti “Sarang” Deka. It will be exciting to see how 2023 goes for Tx if BGMI returns.
