Data miners have uncovered two new items that may be added to League of Legends: Wild Rift in the future. Amidst the Wild Rift Patch 2.5 update, data miners have revealed two in-game items- Hextech Megadrive and Ixtali Seedjar. However, both items have no in-game icons and the item description of the Ixtali Seedjar is quite vague and incomplete. These items are yet to be revealed by Riot Games and may still be a work in progress. Based on the item description, the two items may be focused around the support role as the Hextech Megadrive Reduces your active item’s cooldown while healing or shielding while Ixtali Seedjar, although quite vague, revolves around planting seeds that provides various advantages.

New Support items coming to Wild Rift

The Wild Rift Patch 2.5 update has just dropped, delivering a ton of exciting new content for players. However, the patch cycle has just started and Riot Games will be releasing more content and events for the coming weeks.

Two of the upcoming content may be new in-game items for support players. According to a data miner named Chowz, the items are called Hextech Megadrive and Ixtali Seedjar. The in-game icons of the two items are yet to be revealed and the item descriptions seemed incomplete.

The Hextech Megadrive reduces your active item cooldowns by 15% whenever you cast a shield or heal an ally. Immobilizing an enemy champion will also reduce the remaining cooldown by an additional 15%. Given it revolves around healing and shielding an ally, this item may be focused around utility supports such as Sona, Lulu, and Nami. However, at the moment, the only active item in the game is the boots enchantment.

The second item is the Ixtali Seedjar which has a very vague and confusing item description. When you or an ally hits a plant such as Honey Fruit, Blast Cone, or Scryer’s Bloom, a seed will drop. Picking up a seed will replace your trinket which can be planted at a target location. The seed will then grow to full size. However, the item description did not specify the purpose of the plant. Fans speculate that the plant will grow depending on what type of seed it is (e.g. Honey Fruit seed will grow into a Honey Fruit plant). However, Riot Games is yet to confirm this information so take it with a grain of salt.

Hextech Megadrive Item Description

It will be interesting to see the complete version of these items once they get released in Wild Rift in the future.
