TSM India's Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) coach Shubham "Mayavi" Chawla interviewed the team's professional BGMI players Shubham "NinjaJOD" Ranjan Sahoo, Hamza "Blaze" Khozema Hyderabadwala, and Harsh "AquaNox" Rao in the latest episode of ASKTSM. During this interview session, the players shared insights on their lives and esports journey. Responding to one of the questions, the players also spoke about their future plans in case BGMI fails to return to the country.
Future plans of TSM India’s BGMI players if the game does not return
During the interview, Mayavi asked NinjaJOD about his plans for the future in case BGMI does not return. NinjaJOD responded by emphasizing his academic abilities and stated that he would focus on preparing for the Indian Civil Services exams, specifically the Indian Police Service (IPS) or Indian Administrative Services (IAS). "I'm good at studies, so I will work towards attempting the IPS or IAS exams," he said.
AquaNox was also asked about the possibility of BGMI returning and stated that he had heard it would, but if it doesn't, he plans to continue his studies.
Responding to the same question, Blaze made it very clear that he is determined to continue his gaming career and does not plan to step back from competitive gaming even if BGMI fails to come back. "If BGMI does not return, I will try to play solo in another team in a different country or region," he said.
Prior to the game's ban, TSM India was one of the strongest BGMI teams in India and won the Nodwin x Loco All Stars Invitational and the OR Championship - Legends Rise 2022 in 2022. However, the team recently competed in The Esports Club - New State Open but could only manage a 15th place finish in the tournament.
Transitioning to a new title could prove to be a challenging affair for TSM’s Battlegrounds Mobile India lineup.
