S8UL Esports and 8Bit Creatives co-founder Animesh “Thug” Agarwal recently hosted a watch party for the ongoing PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) Watch Party during which he was asked about Naman “MortaL” Mathur being the face of the organization. Agarwal refuted this claim and explained that S8UL's success is not solely attributed to one person, but rather the result of the contributions and efforts of multiple people and content creators within the organization. He listed many of S8UL’s content creators and stated that each of these individuals and their respective audiences has contributed to S8UL's success.

Thug concluded by saying that he does not see anyone as the face of S8UL and that it is a collective effort.

Thug does not believe that MortaL is the only face of the organization

During Thug's watch party for the PMGC, a viewer asked if the co-founder of S8UL esports believed that Mortal was the face of the organization. Thug responded by saying that he did not believe that MortaL was the only face of S8UL. “S8UL’s growth has come from multiple facets which include SouL, 8bit, Scout, Mavi, Payal, Zinx, Ankkita, Mili, and their lobbies. I would say the different spheres of audiences have come from these different sets of people," he said.

Thug mentioned that Scout was the face of the original group for a few months after Goldy joined in 2019. “However, it was followed by the arrival of MortaL and Mavi, who brought a huge f**king audience with them. Then we had Payal coming in with a huge audience, and then we had these PC gamers bringing in this huge audience. I don't see anyone as a face of S8UL right now; I strongly believe that it's a collective effort," he concluded.

Thug also shared that he does not have any updates to share about Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)’s potential return and that all he’s hearing are rumors. BGMI has been unavailable on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store since July 2022, after its removal from these stores under Section 69A of IT Act, 2000 and Rule 16 of IT Rules, 2009 due to concerns about data security.
