The Esports Club recently announced the New State Open, one of the first ever New State Mobile tournaments in India. The tournament has already started on 10th November, and it will take place till 20th November. The tournament finals will take place on the last two days, i.e., 19th and 20th November, in a LAN setting at Comic Con in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The Esports Club New State Open: Prize pool, Format, and Teams

Prize pool distribution

The Esports Club- New State Open features a humongous prize pool of ₹10,00,000 INR ($12,383 USD), making it the largest New State Mobile tournament in India with respect to the prize pool.

Following is the prize pool distribution for the tournament:

Rank 1: ₹5,00,000 ($6,190)

Rank 2: ₹3,00,000 ($3,714)

Rank 3: ₹2,00,000 ($2,476)

An additional ₹50,000 ($619) will be awarded to the Most Valuable Tournament (MVP) of the tournament.

Tournament format

The Esports Club New State Open will take place in two stages, Group Stage and Grand Final.

Group Stage:

In the Group Stage of the tournament, 24 teams, divided into A, B, and C groups, will fight against each other for eight spots in the Grand Final of the event. The Group Stage will take place from 10th to 13th November, with six matches played per day on Troi and Erangel maps.

Grand Final:

The top eight teams from the Group Stage will meet eight invited teams in the Grand Final. These 16 teams will fight against each other on the final two days of the event, i.e., 19th and 20th November, for the ultimate title and the lion’s share of ₹5,00,000.

In the Grand Final, a total of ten matches will be played, five matches per day. After the conclusion of all matches, the winners will be decided based on the ranking on the points table.

Points Distribution:

One point will be rewarded to players for each finish.

With Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) unavailable in the country, New State Mobile has got a lot of attention. The esports ecosystem of New State Mobile is also beginning to take shape, with multiple tournaments taking place in the past few months.
