Among the 50 teams gearing up to battle for glory, two have been specially invited based on their remarkable global performances. In the lead-up to the PMGC 2023 League Stage, PUBG Mobile Esports unveiled two standout teams, DRS Gaming and Gaimin Gladiators, as the special invitees to the tournament​. This revelation fills the last two slots, confirming the names of all 50 participants for the Global Championship​.

Gaimin Gladiators, with a Russian lineup known for their remarkable skills, also received a special invitation. The squad, having played under different organizations like HVVP and Natus Vincere, has displayed strong performances in past PMGC editions. Their journey through PMGC 2020 and 2021, earning fourth and second places respectively, coupled with their other global achievements, helped cement their position as a special invitee for the PMGC 2023 League Stage​.

On the other hand, DRS Gaming, a celebrated squad from Nepal, showcased a spectacular performance by securing the runner-up position in PMGC 2022.
