Team Soul recently participated in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 where they had an underwhelming performance. However, Team Soul managed to get the chicken dinner (WWCD) in the last match of the tournament. Now, since the game is currently not available in India, the Indian players are also trying their hands on other titles like New State Mobile.

It will be interesting to see whether the BGMI lineup of Team Soul will shift to New State Mobile or wait for an official announcement on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). However, Skyesports CEO Shiva Nandy has made a bold statement on BGMI comeback, he said that Krafton is trying its best to bring back the game in India.

The suspension of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) from Google Play Store and Apple App Store has put the esports scene of the game on hold. Aspiring esports players who were waiting for the announcement of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2022, will also be forced to wait for an official announcement regarding the game.

The future of BGMI looks uncertain in India and it will be interesting to see if other Indian esports organizations will continue hosting BGMI rosters in their portfolio.
