Soul Amit reveals reason behind benching Goblin

On the morning of Day 3, fans got news through Team Soul’s social media about their playing four for the third day of BGMS Season 2. The fan favorite player Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal seemed to be missing in the announcement.

The playing four that were revealed comprised Sahil “Omega” Jhakar, Akshat “Akshat” Goel, Sohail “Hector” Shaikh, and Naman “Neyo”

After putting forth a decent performance on Day 1 and 2, fans were curious as to why Goblin was benched. There were several rumors going through the fans and the viewers, so S8UL Siddhant “Sid” Joshi and Team Soul’s coach Amit “Amit” Dubey cleared the air regarding Goblin’s omission on Day 3.

In a recent video Team Soul’s coach Amit revealed that they are in a good position on the points table. Neyo, who is a new player, does not have experience playing a LAN event and they wanted him to get some experience without having any kind of pressure.

S8UL Sid adding to this said that, Team Soul currently has five players in the team and giving enough game time to every player is important. He also revealed that players occasionally will be playing in rotation as and when required.

Sid also said that Goblin was not benched due to any performance related issues. The sole reason to bench him was to give Neyo some game time and LAN experience.

Team Soul is currently placed 5th on the overall launch week points table. The league stage of BGMS Season 2 begins on Monday 7th August. Fans are expecting the return of their favorite player in the league stage.
