The co-founder also commended S8UL Esports' Goblin.

Co-founder of Stalwart Esports Towqeer Gilkar and Team Enigma’s professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Mohammed Owais “Owais” Lakhani were hosting a PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC 2022) watch party in a recent live stream. During this livestream, Owais asked Towqeer if he had to pick a four-player roster for PMGC from India, who would he pick. Replying to him, Towqeer picked four players and commended S8UL Esports professional BGMI player Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal.

Owais has been an integral and influential figure in the Indian PUBG Mobile and BGMI community since the beginning. He started his professional journey as an In-game leader (IGL) for Team SouL and quickly made a name for himself and the team across the world. While leading his team, he won multiple Indian PUBG Mobile titles, including PUBG Mobile Club Open - Spring Split: India, PUBG Mobile India Series 2019, and more. Furthermore, he has also represented India on the global stage four times, twice with Team SouL and once with Fnatic and MegaStars.

Picking the first player for his team, Towqeer said, “If I am picking for PMGC, I will pick you as an IGL (In-game leader) because you have experience; you have played a lot of international tournaments.”

Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral is a professional BGMI player for GodLike Esports and arguably the best BGMI player in India. At the mere age of 20, the pro player has represented India four times in his career so far. He is a prominent figure in the community with a fan base of millions.

On the other hand, Goblin is a professional BGMI player for S8UL Esports. Although he has been playing the game professionally for the last three years, he got the deserved attention when one of India’s most popular organizations, S8UL Esports, picked him for its roster in March 2022. Since then, he has shown an incredible performance and played under the banner of S8UL Esports to represent Indian at the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 (PMWI 2022). He showed an impressive performance at PMWI 2022 but finished in the 11th position.

Towqeer added that he would pick these two stars next. “I would pick JONATHAN as a fragger, obviously. Actually, I would take JONATHAN and Goblin both as fraggers. Goblin’s reflexes are good. I think if he plays a couple of more international tournaments, he will be at a very good level. A couple of good tournaments, and he will get there.” Following this, Towqeer commended Goblin by saying, “I noticed him in PMWI. The more matches he played in the tournaments, I saw his game evolve so quickly; his reflexes and timing improved. He was very quick in adapting. So, I will take both Goblin and JONATHAN,” he said.

Daljit “Daljitsk” Singh is a professional BGMI player for Velocity Gaming. He started his journey with Team IND and surprised everyone in the community with his sniping and fragging skills. Daljitsk has also represented India on the global stage four times. Picking his fourth player, Towqeer said, “I will also definitely take Daljitsk.”

PMGC 2022 is the final event of the PUBG Mobile 2022 Esports season. The tournament is still ongoing, and no Indian team is playing in it due to the unavailability of the game. However, there is still one undetermined slot left in the grand finals of the event. Krafton has yet to announce the criteria for this slot. It will be interesting to see which team will get this final slot.
