SPower Explains Why He Does Not Play BGMI With His Teammates From Blind Esports
Blind Esports’ professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Rudra “SPower” B recently explained why he does not play with his teammates from Blind Esports. He stated that all of his Blind Esports teammates communicate in Malayalam, a language he does not understand, and added that he would have to speak in English to communicate with them. He further explained that if he were to play with them, he wouldn’t be able to communicate effectively.
SPower does not play with his teammates from Blind Esports due to language barrier
On 21st January, Blind Esports announced that SPower had joined the organization as a BGMI esports athlete. Despite joining as a professional athlete, he was not seen playing alongside his new teammates. As a result, fans were curious why he did not play with them.
In a recent livestream, a viewer asked SPower why he does not play with his teammates from Blind Esports. Responding to this, SPower revealed that all his teammates, including Shadow, Zaddy, and Afu, communicate in Malayalam language, and he would have to speak in English in order to communicate with them. “Let me tell you one thing, whatever the actual lineup Blind will have will be from this side… I mean, it will be from the side of the lobby… Because Blind Shadow, Zaddy, Afu, and all, I believe, speak in Malayalam. They will have to speak in English with me,” he said.
“I will have to speak in English to communicate with them, and I am not comfortable with that. So, I don’t play with them currently,” he added. “Now, if I play with them (Blind Esports), I won’t be able to communicate. I won’t be able to understand anything as they speak Malayalam.”
Lastly, SPower explained that Blind Esports will have a BGMI lineup from North India, unlike its current lineup which is from South India.
SPower is one of the youngest professional BGMI esports players and content creators. Despite encountering age-related constraints that disallowed him from participating in official tournaments, he has nonetheless garnered a reputation within the community by showcasing outstanding performance in various unofficial tournaments. He became a part of GodLike Esports in November 2021 but left the organization about a year later, in September 2022. He is currently a part of Blnd Esports and will represent the organization in BGMI if the game returns.
