SoloRush States That He Lost interest in BGMI
In a recent Instagram Story, popular Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) content creator Md Asif “SoloRush” Iqbal explained his recent inactivity on YouTube to his audience. The YouTuber stated that he had lost interest in BGMI and claimed he wanted to leave gaming altogether. Furthermore, he gave a few reasons why he hasn’t quit yet.
Previously, amid the unavailability of BGMI in the country, multiple BGMI content creators have also quit the game, including Sagar “Maxtern” Thakur and Aditya “Casetoo” Sharma.
SoloRush says he wants to quit gaming
For the past few months, SoloRush has been inactive on his YouTube account and has drastically reduced the frequency of his video uploads. As a result, his audience was concerned about him and asked him on Instagram why he had been inactive. As a result, he uploaded an Instagram story revealing the reason behind it.
SoloRush revealed that he had lost interest in BGMI. “A lot of you guys keep asking me why I don’t upload videos of BGMI consistently on YouTube. See, guys, the thing is that I lost interest in the game one year ago,” he said. Following this, Solorush revealed the reason why he still hasn’t quit the game. “I only play it for two reasons. Firstly, the primary reason is, I will be honest, for the algorithm; to keep it alive,” he said. He added, “The second reason is the way you guys motivate me in the comments section. You guys still keep liking my videos and still keep appreciating them. That’s what keeps me going. That’s it.”
Due to the unavailability of BGMI, many players have been losing interest in the game. SoloRush echoed similar sentiment but said that he had lost interest in gaming altogether. He said, “I don’t even want to play games anymore now. Like, no game. I literally want to leave this gaming thing. It is just because of the two things I told you, and the third thing is that I don’t want to give up – the discipline thing. That’s it.”
SoloRush started his YouTube channel in 2018. He began to gain attention in the BGMI community when a few of his BGMI montages went viral in late 2020 and accumulated hundreds of thousands of views. However, as of writing this article, he has removed most of his videos from his YouTube channel for unknown reasons.
