The Snapdragon Pro Series Free Fire Season 2 is back, and it is set to be bigger and better than ever. A prize pool of $307,500 USD is up for grabs, and the top teams from Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines (MSP), Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia will be competing for it in a LAN event.

Snapdragon Pro Series Free Fire Season 2 will feature a LAN event in Jakarta, Indonesia

The Season 2 will feature an enormous prize pool of over $300,000 USD. It will begin with Snapdragon Mobile Open regional tournaments, starting on 6th September and ending on 11th October 2022. In the Snapdragon Mobile Open, each region will have one tournament per week, featuring three maps: Bermuda, Kalahari, and Purgatory. The top 24 teams from the regional tournaments will advance to the Snapdragon Mobile Open Finals.

“We are looking forward to bringing a top level international esports tournament to Indonesia and are excited to see all the passionate Indonesian esports fans again,” said Michael Kiefer from ESL FACEIT Group. “This tournament will be the start of our mission to turn the Snapdragon Pro Series into an ESL One for mobile games.”

Snapdragon Pro Series Free Fire Season 2 will take place in six phases. The first phase - the open qualifiers for the tournament have already concluded.

Phase 2 : Qualifier Finals

The top 24 Teams from each regional Open Qualifier will advance to the Qualifier Finals.

Schedule: 3rd to 11th October

(Play Day depends on which region teams are in)

Phase 3 : Qualifier Final Group Stage

In the Qualifier Final Group Stage, top 12 teams from the Qualifier Finals will join six pro teams and top 6 teams from Grand Final Season 1.

Schedule: 27th to 30th October

Phase 4 : Regional Final

Prize pool: $7,500

The top 12 teams from each regional Qualifier Final Group Stage will compete in the Regional Final.

Schedule: 5th and 6th November

Challenger Group Stage

Prize pool: $100,000

The top 3 Teams from each Regional Final, adding up to 12 teams, and six invited teams will fight in the Challenger Group Stage.

Week 1: 2nd to 4th December

Week 2: 8th to 10th December

Week 3: 20th to 22nd December

Week 4: 27th to 29th December

Challenge Grand Finals

Prize pool: $200,000

The top 12 Teams from Challenge Group Stage will then advance to the grand finals of the Snapdragon Pro Series Free Fire Season 2 which will be held in a LAN setting in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will take place on 4th and 5th February 2023.

The Snapdragon Pro Series Free Fire Season 1 held regional tournaments for MSP, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. A total of 887 teams joined the tournaments to showcase their talent and win the ultimate title. The top six teams from Season 1 Grand Finals will be seeded into the tournament for Season 2.
