Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2024 set to be held in Brazil

As the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) 2024 hits its halfway mark, the numbers speak volumes about its success. Sam Braithwaite, Vice President of Game Ecosystems, Mobile, Snapdragon Pro Series, notes, "At the halfway point of the SPS Year 2, we’ve already seen nearly 50% more players and more than double the hours watched compared to Year 1." The Mobile Masters event is poised to be the apex of this growth trajectory, attracting the world's best players to Brazil and offering fans a thrilling spectacle as new World Champions are crowned.

The Snapdragon Pro Series 2024 has marked the league's largest expansion to date. The inclusion of the Latin America region and the introduction of popular mobile games like Call of Duty: Mobile has propelled the league's success.

Mobile Masters is set to be the Snapdragon Pro Series' most significant live event of the year. It presents an opportunity for Brazilian fans, primarily gaming on mobile platforms, to witness the world's best players in action. Since Latin America joined the ecosystem, over 1 million of the Snapdragon Pro Series' Year 2 participants hail from the region, highlighting the growing gaming and esports landscape, which has seen a 5 percent year-over-year increase.

Here is a quick rundown of the mobile esports titles to be featured in the upcoming Snapdragon Mobile Masters 2024 tournament;

Call of Duty: Mobile

The competition kicks off on 12th April with bracket play, leading to the finals on 13th April.

The competition marks the pinnacle of the first year of the Snapdragon Pro Series' multi-year deal with Activision, bringing in over 2 million new participants. COD Mobile players engaged in nearly 70 million matches across all levels of the Snapdragon Pro Series.

Garena Free Fire

The Garena Free Fire Mobile Masters tournament, occurring from 13th to 14th April, will witness twelve top squads from Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region battling for the inaugural title and a piece of the $200,000 USD prize pool.
