On 18th November, Skylightz Gaming announced its four-player New State Mobile roster on its social media handles. The organization will debut the new roster at The Esports Club New State Open in The Arena. Skylightz Gaming is one of the eight directly invited teams, and it will be fighting against the best New State Mobile teams from across India in the tournament.

The Esports Club New State Open is one of the first ever New State Mobile tournaments in India. The Grand Final of the tournament is set to take place on 19th and 20th November in a LAN setting. It boasts a humongous prize pool of ₹10,50,000 INR ($12,383 USD), making it the largest tournament of the game in India so far with respect to the prize pool.

Skylightz Gaming’s New State Mobile Roster

Skylightz Gaming’s New State Mobile Roster includes the following four players:

  • Shahrukh "SGxCobraOG" Bavani

  • Aman "SGxCriminaLL" Gupta

  • Shaik "SGxPunisher" Maheboob

  • Abubakar "SGxDagger" Jilani

The organization’s latest New State Mobile Roster is built around CobraOG and CriminaL, the two former players that represented it earlier this year in the New State Challengers Showdown 1.0. In the same tournament, Dagger played under the banner of Reckoning Esports. On the other hand, Punisher used to play for Team U4G prior to joining Skylightz Gaming.

In the caption of the announcement post, Skylightz Gaming claimed that it has put together a “perfectly balanced lineup with the best talent in the region.” All four players will play their first tournament under the banner of Skylightz Gaming at TEC New State Open and compete against the top 15 teams from across India. The team will surely aim to win the ultimate title and take home the lion’s share of ₹5,00,000.

Only a few invited teams, including Skylightz Gaming and TSM India, have revealed the roster that will be representing them at The Esports Club New State Open. Many teams are yet to reveal their New State Mobile roster. Furthermore, Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal recently revealed that the current Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) roster of Team SouL would not represent the organization at the LAN event. With only one day remaining, it will be interesting to see if other teams continue with their BGMI rosters or field a new roster.

Since the block of BGMI in India under Section 69A of the IT Act 2000, New State Mobile has caught quite a few eyes, and a lot of people have been migrating to the game. Third-party tournaments, like The Esports Club New State Open, will surely foster and play a crucial role in developing the esports ecosystem of the game.
