One of the leading tournament organizers from India, Skyesports, has announced a new season of the invite-only BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) tournament that features some of the best content creators from across the country, Skyesports Streamers Showdown.
This season will witness participation from 24 directly invited content creators along with their respective teams and is scheduled to take place from 7th to 20th July.
It will be featuring a total prize pool of INR 15,00,000 ($18,927 USD) for which teams will have to fight through three different stages - launch party, league stage, and grand finals.

One of the fan-favorite BGMI tournament series, Skyesports Streamers Showdown, has returned once again with a brand new season featuring some of the best content creators from across India.
Content Creators / Teams
A total of 24 content creators associated with BGMI have been invited for this tournament along with their respective teams. They have been divided into three groups of eight teams each for the first two stages of the Skyesports Streamers Showdown.
Only the top 16 teams at the end of the league stage will qualify further to the grand finals.
Update: Team Kaashvi has been replaced by Team Ishika after the conclusion of the launch party. This resulted in a slight shuffle for the groups, with Team Sharkshee shifting from 'Group-B' to 'Group-A' and Team Ishika joining 'Group-B'.
Schedule and Results
The invite-only tournament which features only streamers and content creators will be taking place from 7th to 20th July.

Format
The Skyesports Streamers Showdown is divided into three different stages - launch party, league stage, and grand finals. Here is a detailed overview of each one of them.
Launch Party
This is an introductory phase of the tournament where all the 24 participating teams will be divided into three groups of eight teams each.
A total of six matches will be played every day on 7th and 9th July, with each group playing a total of four matches.
League Stage
During the league stage, the 24 teams will be once again divided into three groups of eight teams each, taking on each other following a round-robin format.
A total of six matches will be played every day from 10th to 12th July, with each group playing a total of four matches.
The top 16 teams will move on to final stage of the tournament. However, it is unclear if the final scores from the launch party will be combined with that of the league stage or not, while determining the final leaderboard.
Grand Finals
The 16 qualified teams will go up against each other from 13th to 16th July, playing a total of 24 matches across four game days, six maps being played every single day.
The team with the highest total points at the end of tournament will be crowned as the champion of the Skyesports Streamers Showdown.
