In a recent stream, S8UL Sid explained why S8UL has only one line-up and how businesses run.
He said that an organization could not make a profit by acquiring ten random rosters for different games.

Even though S8UL Esports used to have multiple lineups for different titles before, it currently only has one Esports line-up. Since the past few weeks, fans have been asking Siddhant “Sid” Joshi the reason behind it. In a recent stream, he explained why S8UL has only one line-up and how businesses run.

Sid talks about Mortal, Thug, and Goldy

Animesh “Thug” Agarwal and Naman “Mortal” Mathur started their Esports journey from the bottom, and now they have established S8UL Esports as one of India's most popular Esports organizations. Thug started his esports journey by representing India in PUBG Mobile Star Challenge - Asia Finals and later started making content on YouTube. In contrast, Mortal started by uploading PUBG Mobile content on YouTube and later won multiple trophies in India. On the other hand, Lokesh “Goldy” Jain was an entrepreneur and joined S8UL Esports in 2019. Sid explained this to his audience and mentioned that these three make money because they are smart.

Sid said, “For Thug and Mortal, this entire thing started from nothing. Even if 8bit Goldy is well-off, a businessman makes money because he is smart and not stupid.”

Following this, he said that businessmen make money because they built their businesses before doing charity. They invest money and generate profits. Further, he mentioned that it is how business is done, even in Esports.

Sid said, “You think, why does a businessman have so much money; he has so much money because he does not always do charity. He first runs his business. He invests money and doubles the money from it. He then again invests and triples the money.” Following this, he added, “It is how business is done, and it goes for all businesses, including Esports. You can't make a profit by acquiring and sponsoring ten random rosters.”
