Team SouL recently emerged as the champion of the Upthrust Esports BGMI Pro Scrims 3. The team put forth an incredible performance throughout the tournament and accumulated 358 points, including 118 placement points and 240 finish points, a massive lead of 92 points from the runner-up Revenge Esports. Notably, the Team’s IGL Sahil “Omega” Jakhar did not participate in the event, and Hector had to fill in the shoes of the IGL. Despite having the responsibility of the IGL (in-game leader0, he did not fall short in supporting his team throughout the tournament. He showed an incredible performance throughout and played a crucial role in the team’s success.

Following the conclusion of the Upthrust Esports BGMI Pro Scrims 3, Sid went live on his YouTube channel and addressed the improvement in Hector’s performance. “Hector has started playing really well these days. He is transforming from the support role. We have to look into it after the game returns. He had a transformation,” he said. “We can’t call him a support player anymore. He has improved a lot in the last eight to nine months,” he added.

Sid expressed his satisfaction and pride in Hector’s development and mentioned how he noticed his potential from the beginning. Despite others’ initial doubts about Hector’s ability, Sid believed in him and saw him as an asset to the team. “It’s okay that he struggled in the first two to three months, and others felt he was a weak part of the team. But, after that, he worked hard and proved himself. He is playing really well these days, and I am proud of him,” he said.

Sid mentioned how he recognized Hector’s potential from the beginning, but Hector’s gameplay has been “insane.” He attributed Hector’s success to his hard work and determination, saying, “Some people are just born with talent, I guess; and some people work hard to beat that talent, and Hector has been definitely doing that.”
