In a recent livestream, professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player Saumya “Saumraj” Raj hosted a PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC 2022) watch party. During this party, on a request from one of his viewers, Saumraj revealed his BGMI dream team. This team comprises some of the top players from the country, which would surely be a formidable force. With a mix of skilled assaulters, support players, and an in-game leader (IGL), the team could have the potential to make waves in the BGMI esports scene.

Saumraj’s BGMI dream team includes the following players:

  • Saumraj (Himself)

  • Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo

  • Ritesh “Fierce” Nawandar

  • Sohail “Hector” Shaikh

Saumraj

Saumraj is one of the finest BGMI players in the country. He is known for his aggressive playstyle and precision aiming, making him a valuable team member. Saumraj rose to prominence after the launch of BGMI in July 2021 and was at the pinnacle of his esports career a few months before the BGMI ban. Throughout his professional journey, Saumraj has led his team from the forefront to numerous victories, including Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 (BGIS 2021), as the in-game leader (IGL). 

During his tenure at Skylightz Gaming, he won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 (BMIS 2021) and two accolades at the same tournament. Furthermore, GodLike Esports also loaned him for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021: Grand Finals, where it finished in the 13th position. He was also awarded ‘Esports Athlete of the Year’ at the Loco India Gaming Awards 2022.

ClutchGod

ClutchGod is a 19-year-old professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) player for GodLike Esports. He rose to prominence after demonstrating aggressive gameplay and precise aim at the PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 (PMIT 2019). Following this, Team SouL picked him for the PUBG Mobile Club Open - Fall Split: South Asia, where it finished in the second position. He also represented India at the PUBG Mobile Club Open - Fall Split Global Finals with Team SouL, where it finished in the 12th position. He has also represented India at the global stage of the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021: Grand Finals, where it finished in the 6th and 13th position, respectively. 

Fierce 

Fierce is a pro-BGMI player for Team XO. Before joining Team XO, he represented Global Esports. He has shown an incredible performance since the launch of BGMI and established himself as one of the finest assaulters in India. Although he is yet to win an official BGMI tournament, he has proved himself time and time again that he is one of the finest players in India. Notably, he also won the Snapdragon Conquest New State Mobile Invitational.

Hector 

Hector became one of the prominent personalities in India after he was signed to Team SouL in March 2022. Since joining Team SouL, Hector has consistently shown strong performances and established himself as one of the best in the competition. Hector’s addition significantly improved Team SouL’s performance and immediately skyrocketed the team into becoming one of the favorites at every event the team competed in.

With Hector on the roster, Team SouL won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series, where he played a crucial role in the team. He also put forth a remarkable performance at the BGMI Masters Series, winning three accolades for himself, and allowed SouL to finish in 6th place. Hector also represented India with Team SouL at the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 (PMWI 2022), finishing in 11th place. He was the only Indian player to win an accolade at the prestigious stage of PMWI 2022.
