S8UL Esports Receives Global Impact Award at MOBIES Mobile Gaming Awards 2023

The MOBIES Mobile Gaming Awards 2023 took place on July 14, 2023, in Los Angeles, honoring the best in the mobile and handheld gaming industry over the past year. Naman "Mortal" Mathur and Animesh "Thug" Agarwal, the co-founders of S8UL Esports, attended the event and presented awards. During the ceremony, a special award called the "Global Impact Award" was announced, which aimed to honor individuals or organizations that had made a significant impact worldwide. S8UL Esports was awarded the Global Impact Award for its contributions to the mobile esports scene

S8UL Honored at MOBIES Mobile Gaming Awards 2023 With Global Impact Award


Mortal presented the Competitive Game of the Year Award and Thug had awarded the Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year Award. Later during the ceremony, it was revealed that S8UL had won the award for Global Impact, and Thug and Mortal were called on stage to accept that award.

Thug expressed his gratitude and said, "I don't know where to start. I have so many friends sitting right here whom I have known for the last seven years. Me, a guy from a small town in India, trying to do something in Mobile Esports so passionately, and I don't know why I am here, I don't know how I made it here, how we made it here." He thanked his teammates and the audience from India, stating, "I am out of words, but thank you so much." Thug also pledged to continue putting India on the map in the world of mobile esports and compete with other platforms globally.

Mortal expressed his appreciation for the support from everyone back in India, stating, "I would like to thank everyone who is sitting back in India and has always supported us." He mentioned that attending the MOBIES awards was a surreal experience for him, as he had flown from India to Los Angeles specifically to receive this award.

Towards the end, Thug mentioned that their partner amd S8UL co-founder, Lokesh “Goldy” Jain, was missing from the event and that he was supposed to bring something for him. He stated, "So this is a surprise I am getting for you. I know you are watching this."

S8UL Esports had previously achieved significant milestones, including winning the Content Group of the Year 2022 award at the Esports Awards. The Global Impact Award at the Mobies Mobile Gaming Awards 2023 would be an additional recognition for S8UL Esports' contributions to the industry.
