Frederick Handy "Mirko" Loho, an iconic Indonesian shoutcaster, shared his thoughts on RSG Philippines’ (PH) performance in the ESL (Electronic Sports League) Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA (Southeast Asia) MLBB (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang) event. The shoutcaster compared the team’s three junglers, claiming that John "Irrad" Abarquez outshines Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto and John "H2wo" Salonga. Delving into the analysis, Mirko highlighted Demonkite's inactivity as a pivotal factor in his declining tournament performance. In contrast, Irrad's time spent fostering chemistry with the team has elevated his prowess, surpassing even the seasoned veterans of RSG PH.
Mirko thinks Demonkite’s performance has declined due to his inactivity
Through a recent video, Mirko shared his thoughts on how RSG PH lost its momentum in the playoffs stage of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA MLBB event. According to him, Demonkite
“They (RSG PH) were really good with 1rrad, no hate to Demonkite,” he said. “He’s still a really good player but his inactivity and his rust really shows.”
Mirko further elaborated that as much as fans claim that Demonkite is better than 1rrad, he still thinks that it is not the case.
“I think 1rrad is the best junglers in RSG (PH). I think he’s better than H2(wo), I think he is better than Demonkite, right now,” he said. “If Demonkite goes back to his MSC 2022 form, then, maybe he can be better again.”
Did RSG PH struggle without 1rrad in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA MLBB playoffs?
RSG PH had a smooth sailing challenge group stage during the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA MLBB even. However, the team surprisingly failed to impress fans in the playoffs stage after losing against ONIC Esports and Bigetron Alpha with zero wins.
Mirko suggested that RSG PH encountered difficulties during their recent venture in Indonesia, mainly due to the absence of their teammate 1rrad, who was unable to accompany the team on the trip.
“I think (they struggled) because they prepared with 1rrad. Challenge season, they had 1rrad (but) he wasn’t able to fly and you know, the whole team got F***ed,” he said.
Mirko reinforced his claim by highlighting the matches played by RSG PH, which evidently exhibited the team's struggles without 1rrad's involvement. The absence of this key player seemingly impacted their performance in a noticeable way.
RSG PH had a disappointing playoff run in the recent ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA MLBB event. However, with Demonkite finally back in action, it will be interesting to see if the squad will be able to bring back its championship-caliber performance in the upcoming Mobiel Legends Professional League (MPL) PH Season 12.
