RiftMSTRS Wild Rift Tournament Teased
A new community-driven esports event has emerged for League of Legends: Wild Rift titled RiftMSTRS. The “MSTRS” tournament was first established in 2020 and held events for two mobile esports titles such as BrawlMSTRS for Brawl Stars and ClashMSTRS for the Clash of Clans mobile game. With the announcement of its expansion in Wild Rift, the community-oriented esports event will give all players an equal opportunity to participate and experience competitive esports. An official Twitter account for the RiftMSTRS Wild Rift Tournament has been revealed where more details may be announced at a later date.
RiftMSTRS Wild Rift Tournament Revealed
Established sometime in October 2020, two community events have emerged in the mobile esports scene featuring two of Supercell’s mobile esports titles, Brawl Stars and Clash of Clans. Brawl Stars is a fast-paced 3v3 multiplayer and battle royale mobile game while Clash of Clans is a real-time strategy game.
The BrawlMSTRS community event provided a competitive scene for Brawl Masters players in North America (NA) and Europe (EU) region. The ClashMSTRS event on the other hand offered an esports scene globally for the Clash of Clans community where they can test their guild’s might and acquire the championship title.
The tournament was established with a focus on delivering high-level competition, while also allowing anyone with a competitive drive to test their skills and compete against other competitive players.
A recent announcement has been made, revealing that the community will be expanding its reach in the latest mobile MOBA title by Riot Games, Wild Rift. The tournament will be called RiftMSTRS, to match the theme of the previous esports events. According to the official Twitter page of RiftMSTRS Wild Rift tournament, it will be revealing more details very soon alongside a short video clip that hints at the tournament’s logo.
The esports scene of Wild Rift has definitely been rising in popularity since its official release last year. Alongside the official Riot Games esports circuit such as the ongoing Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Fall Season, various gaming communities have started establishing their own underground tournaments.
One of the popular community-driven esports events in Wild Rift is the Wild Rift Asia Brawl 2021 where teams from all over SEA flocked and competed for the championship title. Another popular weekly Wild Rift event in the Philippines is the where players can compete against the top teams and test their limits alongside a generous amount of prize pool.
