Revenant Esports emerges as the champions of the SPS India Challengers Brawl Stars
Revenant Esports have undoubtedly dominated the SPS India Challengers tournament with its stellar performances. Starting from the Open Qualifiers, the team rose to the top with an unbeatable record throughout all stages of the competition. The Challengers stage saw eight teams battle it out for the coveted two slots in the SPS Masters and the lion’s share in the $60,000 USD prize pool.
Revenant Esports did not lose a single match in the entire Challengers stage of the tournament. The team defeated True Rippers Esports and Marcos Gaming, both with 2-0 scorelines in the Upper Bracket Semifinals and Upper Bracket Final, respectively. It then went on to face True Rippers Esports once again in the grand finals, where it sealed the victory with a commanding 3-0 scoreline.
With its victory, Revenant Esports has reserved a coveted slot in the SPS Masters, which will take place in Japan on 13th and 14th May. This international competition will feature eight skilled teams battling for the coveted title and the lion’s share of the $800,000 prize pool.
Commenting on the team’s success, Revenant Esports’ Brawl Stars player Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Singh said, “We are a pretty new roster, formed just in January, and while we knew we were good, we never anticipated that we would be so successful. Our mindset coming into the Playoffs was that we have pulled this off once before, so we can definitely do it again. We were pretty confident of getting that slot to Japan, and now that we have it, we will be focusing on putting up our best show in the international tournament.”
Revenant Esports’’ founder and CEO Rohit Jagasia commented, “The Brawl Star team’s qualification to Japan is a testament to our goal of nurturing esports talent to make them international stars. This has now become our second team in the span of a month to make it to an international tournament after our Pokemon Unite squad qualified for the Asia Champions League in Malaysia. We will continue supporting the development of esports from the grassroots level and creating stars out of promising talent.”
