Reckoning Esports put forth a dominating performance and was crowned the champion of Upthrust Esports BGMI Challengers Showdown Grand Finals.
Jonathan from Godlike Esports was the MVP of the event’s Grand Finals with 28 finishes.

The Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGMI) Challengers Showdown Grand Finals has concluded with seasoned squads dominating the event. Seasoned teams like Godlike Esports, Medal Esports, Carnival Gaming and Revenant Esports also showed consistent performances in the event's Grand Finals. 

Reckoning Esports placed at the top of the table and took home a sum of INR 2 Lakhs, Godlike Esports placed second and got INR 1.25 Lakhs, and Medal Esports placed third and took home a sum of INR 75,000.

Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Grand Finals Overview

The upcoming squad of Reckoning Esports dominated all three days of the Grand Finals and was crowned the champion of the event. The team’s consistent performance across matches helped it grab a total of 169 points along with 6 chicken dinners, 86 of which came via finishes. Godlike Esports placed second, it made a comeback on Day 2 and grabbed 146 points along with 2 chicken dinners.

Medal Esports placed third and got 134 points with 2 chicken dinners. GenxFM Esports and Carnival Gaming placed fourth and fifth and scored 126 points each with 3 and 1 chicken dinners respectively. Revenant Esports placed sixth and got 104 points, 72 of which came via finishes. Team Tamilas and Global Esports placed seventh and eighth and got 103 and 102 points respectively.

  • 2nd place (Godlike Esports) - INR 1.25 Lakhs.

  • 3rd place (Medal Esports) - INR 75,000.

  • 4th place (GenxFM Esports) - INR 50,000.

  • 5th place (Carnival Gaming) - INR 25,000.

A few seasoned teams like iQOO Soul, Team 8Bit, Gujarat Tigers and Entity Gaming who were dominating the 2024 BGMI season so far could not put forth consistent performances and were placed in the second half of the points table.
