Highlights
Pokemon UNITE introduced a new support-type Pokemon named Sableye .
Sableye offers a ton of crowd control effects for the team, including a UNITE Move that can force enemies to recall back to their base.
Sableye can be unlocked for 12,000 Aeos Coins or 575 Aeos Gems.

Pokemon UNITE has released a new melee-type support Pokemon named Sableye. Players can unlock the new Pokemon by purchasing its license in the in-game shop for Aeos Coins or with the premium currency, Aeos Gems. Sableye offers heavy crowd control effects as well as a few sustaining abilities like stealth and self-HP regeneration. Sableye's Unite Move even has the ability to force enemies into recalling back to their base which can be a huge play in team fights. Despite the massive perks of Sableye in Pokemon UNITE, it’s not as agile, doesn’t provide healing, and deals less damage compared to other support-type Pokemon.

Pokemon UNITE adds Sableye to the game

Sableye was first introduced as one of the Gen 3 Pokemon in the game franchise, featuring a purple body, a red gem in its chest, and two diamond eyes. Its evolution was added in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Pokemon UNITE fans are in for a treat as Sableye is now playable on the mobile MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) title. Players can unlock the new Pokemon through the in-game shop for 575 Aeos Gems. On 23rd November, Sableye will be made available for 12,000 Aeos Coins.

Sableye is classified as a melee-type support that offers crowd control effects for the team. His bread-and-butter ability is the Chaos Glower which damages enemies and freezes them in place. For its Unite move, Pokemon who are in direct eye contact with Sableye will be forced to recall to base while the rest will have their movement speed reduced for a short period.

Despite having one of the most useful UNITE Moves in the game, Sableye doesn’t offer much combat damage. It also does not offer any healing or shield buffs to allies, unlike other support-type Pokemon. This means Sableye in Pokemon UNTIE will have to be paired with heavy hitters to compensate for its lack of damage.

It will be interesting to see how Sableye fits into the meta in Pokemon UNITE, especially in ranked competitive matches.
