The tournament will feature the best Pokemon UNITE teams from all over Asia competing for the first championship title in the invitational event.

The Pokemon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 will kick off in January and shall go on till March 2023. The tournament will be the first-ever invitational event for Pokemon UNITE and will feature three months of action-packed matches with the Final Round to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Qualified and invited teams in the tournament will compete for the prestigious title of being the first king of Pokemon UNITE esports in Asia. The Pokemon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 will be divided into three regional leagues with the best teams from East Asia, Southeast Asia (SEA), and India proceeding to the main event and proving their skills to win the championship title and the $30,000 USD prize money.

Tournament Format

The tournament will have two sessions - the regular season and the final round. All stages of the tournament will be played via draft mode. 

Regular Season

  • Divided into two stages.

  • Matches will be played in a BO3 series.

  • In the first stage, matches will be played in a round-robin format with three regional leagues with five teams each.

  • The second stage will feature a single elimination format. 

  • The top two teams will proceed to the next round.

Final Round

  • Divided into two stages.

  • The group stage will feature a round-robin BO3 format 

  • Teams are divided into groups with the top two teams from each group advancing to the next stage.

  • The second and final stage, Tournament Stage,  will determine the crown champion of the tournament through a BO5 series.
