PUBG Mobile has finally announced that a special direct invite has been reserved for an Indian team at the PMGC 2021, allowing a team to represent the country at this event. This is huge for the Indian PUBG Mobile/BGMI scene that has been on an exile from the PUBG Mobile competitive circuit since the game was banned within the country in September 2020.

Fans are speculating that the Indian invite could be awarded to the winners of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021. However, no additional information about the Indian direct invite has been provided by the organizers so far.
