PH Celebrity and Streamer Alden Richards Builds His Own MLBB Esports Team

One of the most iconic celebrities and streamers in the Philippines, Alden Richards, announced his venture into the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports scene with his own team Myriad Esports. Aside from building his own esports team, he also announced an esports tournament set to be held in January 2023. This announcement was made during the grand finals of the Dark League Studios King's League tournament. The upcoming esports event is titled Myriad Esports Cup and will feature a 500,000 PHP ($8.800 USD) prize pool. Registration is currently open for all amateur teams and players who are looking to experience the thrill of esports.
Alden Richards to host MLBB tournament and build his own esports team
Back in November, Alden Richards announced that he is hosting an esports event titled Myriad Esports Cup. The tournament is set to be held on 28th January 2023 with registrations currently ongoing, lasting till 2nd January 2023.
During the grand finals of the Dark League Studios’ King's League tournament Alden Richards also revealed that he is building an MLBB esports team.
“We haven’t reached one year. You can catch all of the streamers on the Myriad Esports page on Facebook… and eventually, they may be signed in to the Myriad Esports pro team coming soon,” said Alden.

Alden Richards is one of the most popular celebrities and video game streamers in the Philippines. Aside from MLBB, he is also widely known for streaming and being one of the heavy spenders of the Gacha RPG (Role-playing Game) Genshin Impact.
It will be interesting to see how Myriad Esports will perform in the MLBB esports scene in 2023.
