ONIC PH Coach Explains Why the Team Retained Its Roster for MPL PH Season 9

ONIC PH’s head coach Paul "Yebmaester" Miranda reveals the reason why his team did not make any changes to its roster for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9. According to the head coach, the team has already built a solid foundation and the only thing left to do is improve the team’s discipline and chemistry. ONIC PH is the only team in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9 that will be participating without any changes to its team roster. The coach believes that his team already possesses the determination needed to win the championship title in the upcoming MPL season.

Coach Yebmaester is confident about ONIC PH’s capability to win in the MPL PH Season 9

While other teams have been busy revamping their team roster for the upcoming MPL season, ONIC PH announced that it will be retaining its previous roster.

According to its head coach, this decision is the right approach for the team moving forward. This was revealed according to an interview from ONE Esports.

“Well, we have a solid foundation, and it has worked in both MPL PH Season 8 and Mobile Legends’ M3 World Championship. And, I still believe in my players,” stated coach Yebmaester, as quoted by ONE Esports.

The team’s performance during last year’s Mobile Legends tournaments accurately reflects the statement from its head coach. ONIC PH secured a runner-up spot during the MPL PH Season 8 after being defeated by Blacklist International.

At the M3 World Championship, ONIC PH once again made it to the semi-finals. However, the team had a huge upset against its arch-nemesis Blacklist International resulting in a 4-0 match score, in favor of Blacklist International.

While the team was not able to secure a championship title, it became one of the fan-favorite Mobile Legends teams in the Philippines.

The ONIC PH coach admitted that all the teams participating in the MPL PH Season 9 are quite formidable, however, his team’s determination is much stronger this season.

“I can’t predict what will happen this Season 9 because all the teams are strong, but I can only say one thing. The team is even more determined to win the championship. God willing,” stated coach Yebmaester in his interview with ONE Esports.

The upcoming MPL season presents another opportunity for ONIC PH to win a championship title. It will be interesting to see if the team’s steely resolve finally earns it the championship title for the MPL PH Season 9.
