The MSC 2021 champions are back under Omega Esports’ banner for the upcoming MPL PH Season 8. The former Execration squad remains intact with the addition of four new faces in their team roster such as former ULVL support player, Dian “Dian” Cruz, and three promising rookies Romeir “Allidap” Padilla, Dean “Raizen” Sumagui, and Robert “Hito” Candoy. Execration’s former coach, Jomie “P4kbet” Abalos, will serve as the team’s coach while Omega Esports’ previous coach, Anthony “Ynot” Senedrin, has been promoted as the head of coaching and player development for the organization. Omega Esports Announced Their Mobile Legends Team Roster

Omega Esports reveals its roster containing the former Execration squad who recently won the MSC 2021. Along with the old Execration squad, the team also welcomes four new players in their roster.

The team is comprised of the following members;

  • Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso

  • Kiel VJ “Kielvj” Hernandez

  • Renz “Renzio” Cadua

  • Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic

  • Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog

  • Duane “Kelra” Pillas

  • Dian “Dian” Cruz

  • Romeir “Allidap” Padilla

  • Dean “Raizen” Sumagui

  • Robert “Hito” Candoy

Dian is a former member of ULVL Esports. The team participated in the MPL PH Season 7 open qualifiers but failed to secure a spot for the group stage.

Raizen, on the other hand, is a former member of Reech Apex who managed to reach the top eight in the main qualifiers in the last season of MPL PH.

Hito, is a marksman main with a proven track record. Last year he was known as the top one Bruno user in the Philippines.

Former Execration Squad’s Message to the Fans

The MSC 2021 champions shared a message for their dedicated fans along with a promise that they will deliver the best performance in the upcoming tournament.

“Thank you for accepting us here. We will do our best. For us, this is only the beginning of our journey and we promise to do our best,” stated Z4pnu.

The Head of Sports at Smart, (who is the major backer of Omega Esports), Jude Turcuato, gave his comments on the new roster.

“I think it’s the best-case scenario for us. I think it was a slight disappointment last year (M2 World Championship) when we competed with Bren Esports in Singapore and we didn’t win," stated Turcuato. "And for us to be able to have this type of team with our revamp is for me the best-case scenario to have the Southeast Asian champions now fully supported by the resources of SMART and SMART Omega.”

Omega Esports secured the second place title in the MPL PH Season 6 after bowing down on Bren Esports in the grand finals. They also participated in the M2 World Championship where they performed well until they got defeated by RRQ during the playoffs, knocking them out of the tournament. With the former Execration squad now in their care, Omega Esports is eyeing the championship title and will stop at nothing to grab it.

It will be interesting to see if Omega Esports, together with Execration’s former members, will be able to embrace this crossover and surprise their fans in the upcoming MPL PH Season 8.
