The announcement was made through the official social media handles of Omega Esports, thanking the two veterans for their contribution to the team and wishing them luck in their future careers.
“You two are indeed some of the finest players in the LOL: Wild Rift scene in the PH today,” stated Omega Esports.
The team is composed of the following members;

Gerald "Taymlaps" Bermundo - Dragon

John Loyd "Impressive" Dela Cruz - Jungle (Released)
Jaiby "JLC" Paglingayen - Baron (Released)
JLC is yet to announce his plans after leaving the team while Impressive is currently a free agent and is looking for a new team. Omega Esports stated that it will be announcing its new Wild Rift roster in the coming days.
JLC and Impressive have participated and won numerous Wild Rift esports tournaments under Omega Esports. The team was crowned champions in the Wild Rift Asia Brawl 2021, Bit Wars Open Qualifier #2, Zenith Open Asia Spring, and the PPGL 2021 Summer Split: Luzon South Regionals.
Despite being one of the best Wild Rift teams in the Philippines, Omega Esports struggled to secure first place in the PPGL 2021 Fall Split: Playoffs. The team eventually settled for fourth place and missed its chance to represent the Philippines in the Wild Rift SEA Championship 2021.
It will be interesting to see if Omega Esports will be able to reclaim its former glory in the next season of the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021.
