After its recent acquisition of Execration’s Mobile Legends roster, Omega Esports hops into the CODM esports scene with a new team roster comprised of former members of NRX Gaming’s team roster, NRX Jeremiah 29:11.
The big announcement was revealed on 3rd Aug 2021 through the official social media handles of Omega Esports with the caption, “Another set of KINGS have arrived!”
The new Omega Esports CODM team roster is comprised of the following players;
CAPTAIN - John Clarence "Jayzee" Rivera
SLAYER/ENTRY FRAGGER - Benjamin "CRUSH" Trinidad Jr.
SUPPORT - Kennedy "IDRA" Mondoy
SUPPORT - Eulo "6ix9ine Gaming" De Chavez
SNIPER - Jerrold "Woopiiee" Regay
FLEX ROLE - John Kenneth "KenDy" Pimentel
COACH - Bruce "Dev1ce" Cruz
NRX Jeremiah 29:11 is arguably the most dominant CODM team in the Philippines with a proven track record of championship titles in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Region. They qualified for the CODM World Championship 2020 - Global Finals. However, due to the global pandemic, the tournament was canceled, and they missed their chance to showcase their skills in the international CODM esports scene.
CODM will be Omega Esports’ fifth esports title alongside other games such as Mobile Legends, Dota 2, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Tekken 7. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to deliver a top-tier performance in the CODM esports scene and possibly give the former NRX Jeremiah 29:11 pro players another chance to showcase their skills in the upcoming CODM World Championship.
