With the release of one of its veteran players Dian “Dian” Cruz and the benching of one of its pro players Robbie “Hito” Candoy, two new players will take up the position to complete Omega Esports’ roster for the upcoming MPL season. The announcement was made through the official social media handles of the esports organization, revealing the two MPL rookies Jhonville “OUTPLAYED” Villar and Jefferson “Amethyst” Santos.

OUTPLAYED previously played under various Mobile Legends esports teams such as Amihan Esports, SV Empire, and Z4 Esports. Amethyst, on the other hand, was a former member of the Juicy Legends Q4 champions, Origen Esports.

With the two new members announced, here is the full roster of Omega Esports;

  • Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog

  • Duane “Kelra” Pillas

  • Renz “Renzio” Cadua

  • Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez

When Omega Esports was comprised of the former Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021 champions, the team was not able to secure a championship title in the MPL PH Season 8. In the playoffs stage, the team fell to the hands of ONIC Esports in the upper bracket and got eliminated by Blacklist International in the lower bracket. However, the team shall look to redeem itself in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9 with two new promising rookies under its banner.

It will be interesting to see if Omega Esports is able to impress its fans in the upcoming MPL season.
